This award-winning toy was brilliantly designed to extend the life of expensive dog treats while keeping dogs busy. The side openings release scent and taste while the continuous interior hole allows treats to extend out. Flexible ridges grip multiple sizes of treats. One of West Paw’s toughest dog toys, Qwizl is also fun to toss, fetch, and chew on (even after the treats are gone). The curved shape makes this toy easy for dogs to hold in place with paws.

I have an 85lb lab and this toy keeps him occupied! I buy jerky type strips and put them through the middle and make sure that the treat doesn’t stick out the ends and this will keep him occupied for about 20 minutes. He does have the center of the toy cracked a bit from trying to work the treat out but it’s still durable. I put it in the dishwasher to wash it. I also have a 12 week old puppy that likes to chew on this toy. It’s a great toy! Very durable!!

I put a small treat into this toy and gave it to my black lab and he played with it for a long time, licking and trying to get the treat out, then I let my yellow large lab take the treat for a while. She tears up every toy that is indestructible so I was worried when she carried the green toy into her crate to destruct it, but after checking on her for awhile, I saw that she was not going to tear this toy into shreds. This toy is made out of a really tough material and is easy for them to grab and tote around and we throw it for them and they go get it and will play with it without a treat inside. This toy will keep them from eating treats too fast and gives them something to figure out.

I received the West Paw Plastic Treat Toy in Large as part of a promotion. The model is the Qwizl Toy Lrg Grn 6.5. I have two large dogs – shepherds that are very heavy chewers. Any toy that lasts more than 5 minutes is a 2 thumbs up! I am pleased to say that this toy passed the test. It kept their interest and also has the added bonus of having places to hide treats, which keeps their busy shepherd brains occupied. I love that it is strong, for the larger dog, yet is soft on the mouth, for the smaller dog. And when it gets too gross, from playing and slobbering on, it can be washed. It says it can be run through the dishwasher, but I’d probably just fill the sink with soapy water and rinse really well. I plan on buying another very soon, so they each have one. It’s definitely worth the investment for the entertainment value and the fact that they don’t get destroyed in 5 minutes. I hate spending $10 on a toy to see it shredded, but this is a keeper.

I’ve been wanting to get one of these treat dispenser toys for a long time. Our Jack Russell Cody loves toys and anything that stimulates his mind is even better. This keeps him entertained as he tries to get the treats out of the toy. The only drawback I can see is that do not leavE your dog unsupervised with this as the plastic is not super sturdy.
