We have a Great Dane, Bullmastiff, and Labrador. They all love this mat. The Great Dane is giant and hyper so she usually uses this alone, but our lab and bullmastiff have calmer dispositions and the mat is large enough for them to use it together. I’ve washed it twice so far, hung it to dry, and it seems like it will hold up well. The felt is thick and stiff but holds the kibble well. It’s been doing a great job of keeping them out of mischief and stimulated, especially on days when it’s too hot outside. I think the snuffling does use mental energy since it seems to calm them down and they usually nap afterwards. I usually give it to them in their crate or on their beds, but it does have “non slip” backing –silicone dots to help reduce sliding along slick floors.
Our dogs are used to doing plastic puzzles so they haven’t yet tried to flip this cloth mat over and just spill out the treats, but other (smarter? lol) dogs might learn that method of getting the kibble faster.

Purchased this mat for my grand dog for Christmas and he loves it! It has been fun to hide things in it for him and watch him nose %26 paw The treats out of it. It also slows him down from gulping his treats down!

My fur-baby and visiting furry friends love this snuffle mat!!! When the treats are hidden with care, they will play with it for hours!!! They love games, but this mat is definitely one of their favorites!!!
