My dog is scared of any shavers or trimmers that make noise and scissors make me weary because she has large eyes (Shih tzu) that bulge a bit. I introduced it to my dog during brushing time and she didn’t seem to notice when I cut off the little hair matts and burrs. So far it has done the job well. My only complaint is I don’t know how to sharpen the blade in the future, but that is probably why it has two sides.

I’ve tried this a couple of times now and so far, I don’t find that it works at all. I’ve gotten very little hair to even cut. I’ll give it one more try, but at this point it appears to need to be returned.

It needs better directions on how to use it. My Yorkie hurt her back a year ago and I can’t take her to the groomer anymore. I have to cut her hair with scissors. I really don’t think it will work for me.
